COIN, an indie pop band formed in 2012, has been disbanded.
Announced via the band's official Instagram account, the popular indie group COIN has split up amid allegations concerning misconduct by the band's drummer Ryan Winnen and lead guitarist Joe Memmel.
It was ultimately the decision of the band's lead singer-songwriter Chase Lawrence to break up the group.
Several rumors regarding what happened involving domestic abuse and underage solicitation have been circulating, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
Lawrence stated in the above post:
"Their behaviors directly conflict with my values, and I am devastated for anyone that has been affected by these actions."
