After almost a year of no concerts in 2020, they have made a comeback in 2021! If we’re lucky, they may continue on into 2022! So, in no particular order, here are 5 concerts that are happening this year as well as next year!
For King and Country - Relate 2021 Fall Tour/A Drummer Boy Christmas Tour
For King and Country is a Christian pop duo from Nashville, TN consisting of brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone. The tour will be starting on September 18th in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. The closest concert will be in Evansville, Indiana on October 24th at the Ford Center. Tickets can be ordered at Ticketmaster.com or eventticketscenter.com. There are no opening acts for this tour.
Imagine Dragons – The Mercury Tour
Pop-rock group Imagine Dragons released their 5th album, Mercury – Act 1, on September 3rd . Mercury – Act 1 has been described by front man Dan Reynolds as a more honest album. In support of their newest album, they will be touring in 2022 starting on February 6th in Miami, Florida. The closest concert is in St. Louis, Missouri on February, 23rd . Korn & Staind - Summer Tour 2021
Nu-metal bands Korn and Staind kicked off their summer tour on August 5th in West Palm Beach, Florida. Opening acts include ‘68 and Fire from the Gods. The tour is currently ongoing but 6 shows have been rescheduled due to Korn frontman Jonathan Davis testing positive for COVID19 last month. Along with Davis, Korn guitarist James “Munky” Schaffer tested positive for COVID and will be missing some of the shows. Tickets can be ordered through Live Nation or Ticket Master. The closest show will be in Louisville, Kentucky at the Louder than Life Festival on September 23rd .
Megadeth & Lamb of God – Metal Tour of the Year
Megadeth and Lamb of God are currently on their “Metal Tour of the Year” with opening acts Trivium and Hatebreed. The tour kicked off on August 20th in Austin, Texas. Lamb of God is touring in support of their self-titled album, which was released last year. Megadeth is set to release a new album sometime this year or next year titled The Sick, The Dying, and the Dead. The nearest concert will be in St. Louis, Missouri on September 26th . J. Cole - Off-Season Tour
J. Cole will be touring in support of his newest album, The Off-Season, which was released on May 14 of this year. The tour will start on September 24th in Miami, Florida and will feature 21 Savage along with special guest Morray. The nearest concert will be in Chicago, Illinois on October 7th. J. Cole released a documentary titled Applying Pressure prior to the release of his latest album. Tickets can be purchased from Ticket Master or Vivid Seats.
